From The Desk: Fantasy

Bring y’all a fantasy update for February!

What I’ve Finished:

In early January, I finished off the second draft of The Deceiver. I’m currently letting it rest and soak for a bit before I pull it back out either at the end of this month/beginning of next month to start getting it ready for professional editions before this summer. I think I’ve got the story pretty pinned down to where I want it, but there will likely still be some tweaks and adjustments I need to make. Like The Princess, The Deceiver have a lot of moving pieces and multiple points of view, so it’s taking some finessing to get it just right.

What I’m Working On:

This month, I’ve been spending some time outlining and pulling things together for the third and final book in the Royals Trilogy, The Imposter. I have a very rough draft done for this particular book, and I’m looking forward to really starting to dig into it over the next few months around my other 2025 projects. I’m currently planning on a 2026 release for The Imposter and can’t wait to bring y’all this action-packed ending.

February has definitely been the month for brainstorming and outlining, but I’ve been having lots of fun seeing which directions the characters and stories will head in. And don’t forget, if you don’t have it already, you can get the my eBook boxset, Of Myth & Magic, for $0.99 through March 31st (4 books total in this set!). You can also download The Healer: Tales of Pern Coen for FREE through May 31st and start my Bloodlines Series.
