News From The Desk: Contemporary

Happy Wednesday, readers!

In May, I wrote 17,338 words between my contemporary and romance projects and I got a ton of editing done. I’ve got a lot on the schedule for my contemporary projects this month and I’m really looking forward to diving in on them!

By Heart & By Soul

I’m currently awaiting my latest paperback proof. The formatting is almost perfect and I’m hoping this will be the last of the necessary tweaks! Once the formatting is all checked off, I’ll be working on getting the paperback pre-orders up on major retailers and placing my shipment for the bookstore.

Heart of Trust

This month I will be diving back into my second round of revisions on Heart of Trust. I’ve had a little bit of a break from the manuscript, which allows me to come at it again with fresh eyes. I’m not certain if this will be the last of my self-revisions before it gets sent for its first round of professional edits or if it will need one more. I’ll have to see how well I feel the story is flowing by the time I get to the end of it. But I’m really loving the world of Heart & Soul Ranch and ready to get back into Meg’s story!

Heart of Hope

In May, I got a little over 9k written on Heart of Hope. This book has honestly been one that had me a little worried as to if I could pull this particular story line off, but honestly, the more I get into Isabel and Derrick’s story, the more I just absolutely love them. As I’ve been writing, I’ve really been connecting with Isabel, in particular, and I think these two have a super fun story to tell.
